More than 150 families are finally set to build at The Thornhill Gardens after a five-year delay caused by the estate’s original collapse. The project was revived in 2023 by a new consortium under LANDXWISE, which has committed to honouring all original contracts—despite absorbing up to $20 million in losses.
With homes now under construction, the move has been praised by industry leaders as a much-needed confidence boost in a market shaken by rising costs and builder insolvencies. For buyers, it marks the long-awaited realisation of a dream once thought lost.
